Best strainer in a French Press. ZERO dick reaches my cup. Of course, draining the water takes a little longer, but it's worth it.

There's Nothing Like French Pressed Coffee. I strongly recommend that you buy a metal holder along with them! Some plastic holders fall off!

A bit expensive but perfect for one person. I used a large one, but being the only coffee drinker in the house, I drank way more than I should have or threw away some. The size is just right for a 12 ounce mug. The container and the press can be washed in the dishwasher. Also very cute.

Basically the same excellent French coffee press that Bodum has always made, in many different incarnations. I've been using my old one for about fourteen years and still love it. Revain Warehouse Deals price was lower because it was a returned item.

How can this model be advertised as having 3 cups, I don't understand what a cup of coffee is in the US. 12 ounces is good for 2 lean cups and/or just one cup. Two scoops of ground coffee filled with hot or freshly brewed water to the top of the metal ring holding the glass make a decent, flavorful cup of coffee. Remember to mix the crumbs with a wooden mixer before putting the lid on. Wait four minutes and strain. Better than instant coffee

I bought this for my husband thinking about his morning coffee. I used to use a large press to brew coffee for him, but I couldn't accurately calculate the amount of water needed. Because this press coffee maker is small, it doesn't take up too much space like the other ones either, and since I use it every day, it's good not to always have a large glass outside. Previously a quality product. I have had Bodum presses of all shapes and sizes for many years. The newest ones are made to much lower standards. On my new large press, the chrome base is rusting after a few weeks of use. The plastic "filter" part of the top was broken right out of the box. The older, smaller one, which I also use regularly, was made much better, even after many years without any defects. I have to say I was a little disappointed with Bodum French Press. I don't think this new model is any better than my old abs. On the plus side it has a thicker glass carafe which will hopefully prevent it from easily breaking in the future. However, the glass carafe itself isn't very strong and tends to slip a bit - and yes I tried tightening the screws - but I did find myself washing it gently to make sure the glass didn't slip or rotate .
