Impossible to walk - bad design

These boots seemed like a great idea. They are warm and durable but unfortunately IMPOSSIBLE to wear them on my 2 year old's foot. Sizing is correct and on the few occasions I was able to fit her foot in there was plenty of room, but the bootleg was too narrow for a child's foot to fit through. I even tried cutting the cord that goes around the trunk to open it but to no avail. It takes 10 minutes of crying and squirming to even come close to putting them on. Absolutely not worth it. I deeply…

Impossible to wear

The boots are adorable and look well made. We were hoping they would fit our son who has just turned 1 so he can go to the play area in kindergarten. Unfortunately, with big baby feet and calves, it's impossible to climb on. Once his foot is in they seem to have enough room, but getting him to bend his ankle to slip the boot on is a nightmare. As the markers were taken too soon they can't be returned, but I'd like to lure his foot into the corner beforehand.

Cute, fits well, not bulky, color as pictured

Very cute little boots for my son. I ordered the purple and the turquoise with polar bears and it is exactly the same as pictured. It's hard to tell where my child's toes are as the toes are rubber but they seem to fit him very well. I ordered size 5 for my 10 month old baby with big feet to get through this winter. A little harder to put on than I was hoping but lighter than some of the other boots and MUCH less bulky which I avoided as I think my son will start walking this winter and big…

Toasty Toddler Toes

We love the swamp family! I've worn the same Bogs Plimsol shoes in the rain and snow for the past 5 years ❤️My youngest is in the Montessori Toddler Community on campus where I teach and her 8 year old brother visits. It has a huge outdoor component (similar to wild training). Temperatures in Nebraska often drop below freezing, and the children at our school need warm, waterproof, and durable clothing. We have swamps and they are -4°F! Perfect. They have the added bonus that their 22 meter self

Difficult to put on winter boots

I really wanted to love these boots. And I did until we were desperately trying to put her on my baby legs. Although they were more than generous for his leg and room for socks, we couldn't put them on. An angle of rotation from shaft to tip that we couldn't beat. If they had a zipper to open the ankle area we would be spot on. So sad. I really wanted it.

They seem comfortable and fit as expected

My daughter loves them and won't let us take them first! They seem comfortable and fit as expected. The only drawback are the handles. They are great for autonomy, they allow little ones to put their boots on themselves BUT they are low on the boots which is a problem when you are running in deep snow. There is a way to tighten them at the ankle but I haven't found it really effective. I've read reviews of people saying they leak a little, they didn't have that problem and we went to Quebec…

5 sizes for toddlers and she loves a size 10. Bog Wellies

My daughter wears Bogs boots (the rain version for toddlers) almost exclusively so we chose these Bogs Boots Snow boots decided for winter. She is currently a size 9.5 for toddlers and loves size 10 bog wellies. Unfortunately, despite buying winter boots in the same size, they seem to fit MUCH tighter, possibly due to the fluffy lining, and they proved very uncomfortable for her. I wish she would have spoken about the landing before we took off the labels and stuck them on the road, but of…

Boots to wear in class!

Most winter boots for toddlers and toddlers tend to be stiff, calf-high boots that children don't maneuver well in unless they're limping in them. This is good if you are only in the snow for a short time. However, since I don't send my 5 or 6 year old to school with an extra pair of shoes to change into once he gets there (because that means losing either the shoes or the shoes), he ends up feeling like he has two concrete blocks on his feet if he wears boots all day. But these swamps are…

Great boots for cold weather

These boots are awesome. If you live in a cold area where it also snows (cold and wet) these are the perfect boots for a child. We live in the Midwest so they can be worn every day from late October to mid-April so these boots are worth every dollar. I bought a pair last year for my 2.5 year old son who loved them so much he refused to wear any shoe other than these in the 70 degree weather even when we went to LA for the holidays. These boots are incredibly easy to put on, with handles on the…
