Great product - tools and gear

Took these to clean the threads of some LS manifold bolts. As a result, I bought a full set of metric and standard. A good product.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • It's driving me insane

I want a set of these

Amazing I've had a hard time installing headers on my Cobra engine. The screws fought against me at every step when I stopped what I was doing before damaging anything I ordered these and like Jesus himself cleaned the threads the oil is slick

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Good work! good for tools and gear

I figured I'd need a machine shop or even a new wheel after squeezing a bolt into a hardened threadlocker. I googled a bit and found the concept of filament tracking. At first I was going to buy a set of taps and dies, but instead I found this product. So happy I did.

Pros
  • best
Cons
  • packaging ugly

worked best for me in the thread repair kits

Stuck internal threads in the door of my Porsche 996. Saved me a headache. strands, a quarter turn, then step back, then a quarter turn, then step back, slowly further and further into the hole. Take your time. It works, and you're less likely to damage it than you would with a full jab.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • 0

There are better tools - Tools & Equipment

Bought Lang's range and also ordered as they're only $10, maybe keep in your tool bag. Hunter Lang worked well and seemed to connect more. After running Lang instead, the bolt came out fine, and yet after comparison it still sticks. I won't force it as the latch works after the lang. Instead, I would recommend Lang and not worry.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Perfect for work and fast delivery

THE FIRST TIME: WOW! These guys/girls helped me a lot. Expedited shipping was a bit high for them but I ordered on Saturday night and they were at my door on Tuesday. Great! 2nd: It worked exactly as described. The screw holes in the valve cover were clogged and the threads torn off. I dipped this little rooster in oil, put it in the threads, pulled a hair off to put in the threads, then threaded it through each hole. Now my new bolts cut through butter like a hot knife. THANK YOU LONGHORN…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
