Right Tool for the Job

Unusable Finished Replacement R 134A. In the end I decided I needed an adapter. Of course, this is the ideal solution, and the 2015 Jeep Wrangler is equipped with air conditioning with cooling.

The leak fitting does not seal properly.

Boltigen R1234YF The lower fitting does not properly seal the lower side connector. This faucet is cheaply made with very poor quality. Wouldn't recommend buying at all.

Excellent adapter: Air conditioning tools and equipment

Excellent adapter. Allows working on new r1234 systems with r134 hardware. In my case I needed to replace the AC condenser so I switched back to r134 instead of the much more expensive r1234 refrigerant. R 134 is compatible with newer 1234 oils so there are no shifting issues. There is also no need to change the hole.

Not connected for vacuum

It had a manufacturing defect that I was able to fix before first use. This works, however the 1234yf socket style quick connect fitting that comes with the vehicle with the 1234yf system provides a system pressure port. Once the pressure is gone, the connection is lost. This is a problem when you want to pull the vacuum. If you want to create a vacuum you need to get the regular male ends that connect and then screw on to open the valve. But to some extent it helped to connect the r132a hoses…
