For Double Fabric Also Suitable for Beginners. Will not cut through more than 2 layers. I was hoping to cut 2 or 3 double thickness layers for mass production of face masks, but that didn't happen.

My first circular cutter worked great on fabric. It's much easier to cut the fabric to make a mask than using scissors. I would suggest using it on a surface you don't mind getting dirty. I'm glad it came with a replacement which will last a while as I'm still using it from day one.

Dampening. After the first cut I was really impressed. It easily cuts through multiple layers of material. But then within fifteen minutes it became very blunt, as if it wouldn't bluntly cut a layer of fabric. I know spinning blades need changing, but not that fast. Very disappointed. Will update again after I change the blade.

When this item arrived the blade and part of the body were covered in a dark, smelly grease. After washing it and trying to use it (with a cutting mat of course) it didn't do well. It tends to lock if you even touch the button on top that locks the blade in place. Even after changing blades and varying pressure, it was difficult to even come close to getting a clean cut of tissue. You get what you pay for I guess.
