Great product so far, although I'm still learning how to cut fabric with it. I'm afraid of hitting the board. The reel is sharp but the locking mechanism is a bit difficult to engage. They should tell you not to saw while tilting the wheel - I got two little nicks as a result (see photo)

I bought this cutter on a whim, it's good although I found it a little pricey. but maybe i'm wrong about the price because i don't have anything to compare it to. I have several projects and I chose this one. I hope I'm right. I also read a lot of bad reviews. so here it is

I bought this product to make it easier to cut fabric for my sewing projects. It seemed to me that the blade is very sharp, and the handle is comfortable. I like the retractable blade for security. The only downside I have is that when cutting multiple pieces you have to use a lot of pressure, more than I expected, but it made a nice smooth cut.

I am very tired of cutting fabrics or patches with scissors. My friend suggested getting a circle cutter instead because it would save me time and cut complex curves better than scissors. I chose this one because it also came with a mat and extra cutting blades. I've been using it for over a year with no complaints. This tool has reduced my cutting time so I can focus more on sewing. I've never tried a disc cutter but wanted to when this cutter came on sale at a great price. The price and the fact that it included a cutting board and spare blade made me decide to give it away to Whirlpool. Unsatisfactory product. I have recently started weaving wreaths and have experienced severe hand fatigue cutting netting and ribbon. The tutorial shows the ladder using a disc cutter and I thought that would be the perfect answer. This is my first cutter and maybe what I experienced is ok but for me it was a waste of money. This was the first circular knife I've ever bought so I didn't realize how problematic it was until the blades got stuck when turning Mechanism.
