I bought this game from Amazon to replace a game I bought from kmart that no longer works. About 2 weeks after I bought a new one, it just stopped working. I changed the batteries but it still didn't work. I take good care of my stuff but when the first one stopped working I thought I wasn't being careful enough and when the second one stopped working I thought maybe the problem was in the manufacturing. I still like it but I won't buy it again.

Not a complicated toy. If you want to sit around and have some fun and don't want to think too much, just pick this up and have some fun. It might not be good enough to provide 20+ minutes of adult pleasure, but it's good for a short time and you can just leave it on your couch and enjoy it from time to time. My 5 year old loves to play with it too. Teaches good eye-hand coordination. This is not difficult for adults, but it is quite difficult for younger children.

This gift was bought as a birthday present for a nine year old boy. As in our family, adults play toys and games with children. To our surprise, the adults seemed to be having more fun than the kids. And 2 1/2 years amazingly learned and play better than many adults and kids. Recommended as a gift for all ages. This is a great sensory gift. This is a great adult stress relief gift. Fantastic toy! Great for the whole family. When we got it, I showed my 7 year old son how to play it and went to do my chores and let him play by himself. About 30 minutes later I saw him playing Bop It! crash into the table and break into his room! He got angry because he couldn't score more than 5 points. It was really funny. Cool! Smash is a hit with older kids. Mom isn't a big fan because of some of the comments that I find rude when a person loses during a game but I love that the kids love to play it even if it gets a little noisy lol.
