While the decanter is attractive for a pressed glass object, the handle design of this heavy decanter is poorly designed and difficult to hold because it's too thin and comfortable too hold his I would only recommend the carafe to people with strong but small hands. Those with medium or large hands will feel pain in their knuckles and will find it difficult to pour out when held securely.

I ordered two of these specifically for the lid and anti-dissolving ice core and only received jars. No lids or ice cores to prevent dissolution. I was planning to make sangria as a Christmas present and wanted to be able to transport it. Now, 2 days before Christmas, my order hasn't been fulfilled and I don't have enough time to order more jugs and get the sangria ready in time. Extremely disappointed and sad.

I went to a restaurant in Disney Springs and they used glasses that matched this pitcher. I checked who made them and found they were sold at Revain and ordered a set from the restaurant. This jug was also on the list and very cheap. This is the perfect complement to glasses and all my guests commented on how beautiful and high quality this set was when I used it at dinner.

Ice core and lid won't stay in place. glass, it falls from the lid. I had to drill a hole in the lid and ice core and use a long screw to hold the ice core bushing and lid together. I work for a bed and breakfast and need 3 of these for milk and OJ. I'm glad the guest doesn't notice. I love mugs very much. Overall this is a very good carafe. There is good weight without being heavy. Make sure you have your scissors handy as they were so well wrapped in bubble wrap that I actually had to cut them open to get to the box. Great as I was a little worried it would break. The top and insert are plastic and snap onto the top of the carafe. The top is very easy to put on and take off and stays in place for multiple uses.
