VERSATILE: The RH540M features a combination dual mode selector knob to allow users to select between hammer drilling, chiseling only and the Vario-Lock function. EFFICIENT: With Varo-Lock Positioning, the rotary hammer rotates and locks chisel into 12 different positions to optimize working angle. The tool also comes complete with service minder brushes to notify users when maintenance is needed. VARIABLE SPEED: The variable speed dial allows for controlled drilling and chiseling applications. Serious Disappointment

Based on my experience, this product simply did not live up to its advertised capabilities. While the design is somewhat sleek and visually appealing, the actual performance left a lot to be desired. The pros of this industrial power tool are few and far between, but perhaps its relatively lightweight construction could be considered a small benefit. As for the cons, there were many, including poor power and disappointing reliability. Overall, I would suggest potential buyers look elsewhere for

When to start?!?! In the beginning it was great. Now after 1.5 years it doesn't work anymore.

I have changed my rating from five stars to one. My play drill died in the middle of a hole. It has had little use but was purchased on January 16th and hasn't even lasted two years. Worst of all I called Bosch and the support team didn't pay for the repair. They said they would write to me and they never did. I'll change it again if it breaks up damn it.

Cuts like a knife. works well with power drills

I had to add water, sewage and electrical cords to the Shop with an old concrete foundation. I found several Bosch bits that fit. So I bought this SDS-max drill. IT drills through concrete easily. I really like the grip. If the bit catches, it won't rip your arm off. Also the possibility of using different chisels makes it even more functional and vestal. The case is perfect for me as it also contains a few bits and chisels.
