Specially engineered Yttrium enhanced ground electrode provides 2X longer service life compared to standard Copper plugs. Fine wire Platinum firing pin for better ignitability. Unique 360 continuous laser weld fuses corrosion resistant Platinum firing pin to base. Nickel-plated rolled threads provide superior resistance to corrosion and do not require anti-seize for installation. Bosch Platinum spark plugs are pre-gapped at the factory and do not require a gap adjustment prior to installation.

Great candles and great price.

These spark plugs are a great purchase and my 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo has been performing great. And much better gas mileage.

They are genuine

Almost didn't buy them as some reviews said they were fake and some reported they broke afterwards just a few miles. Well there is no doubt that the ones I received are in fact from Bosch. Second, after installing it on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee, after reasonable practice, I had no problems. What I noticed after installing it is less engine vibration and no power fluctuations when pressing the accelerator pedal. They worked, the price is right and I recommend them.

newer Bosch Platinum Plugs

I love these Platinum Plugs. . an upgrade from the old Bosch plating forks that I removed. The old spark plugs worked fine at idle but protested under load. These new version forks cured it right away. I can't remember when I installed the original kit - that's the problem with those platinum candles, they last four years. He opened a box of candles, dated them, and put them in the glove compartment. I also thread cleaned the treads and applied anti-seize to each plug. Didn't put dielectric…
