Excellent Router Bit for Smooth Cuts

The Bosch convex router bit has exceeded my expectations with ITS efficient design and precise cuts. According to my experience, this carbide tipped bit is proficient in cutting shapes in wood and leaves a smooth surface with minimal tear-out. The rounded convex shape is perfect for decorative finishes such as flutes or grooves. The only downside I have found is that it is a little bit costly compared to other brands but I believe its quality justifies the price... Overall, I highly recommend…

Pros
  • Strong and durable carbide material facilitates precision cutting
Cons
  • Pricier compared to other non-carbide alternatives

Great socket for power tools and hand tools

I use this socket on my CNC router. This of course gives me very good control over the spindle speed, cutting depth and travel speed. Doesn't burn, excellent cut. I have used it to cut oriental white oak, currently I have about 25 hours on this particular tip and it is still quite sharp. Works just as well as the same bit from Amana at a much lower price.

Pros
  • Recommended for use with router table
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
