Bosch makes good tools

The tip could have been sharper but as it's used for woodworking it works well. Start with the material, they are not exactly balanced and will whip and flex at high speed unless you use a guide system.

Pros
  • Easier drilling, less heat and longer drill bit life
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

It's long and sharp!

We were looking for something to hollow out the core of turkey feathers to make goose feathers. This worked great for the feathers it meddled in. An odd target in our case, but then again you don't often need something specific like a 1/8 inch long drill bit.

Pros
  • Available in jobber length, short length, long length (airplane), 1/2". reduced shank (silver and deming)
Cons
  • No instructions

Exactly what I expected

I have this long drill bit for Bought drilling the front panel at my house to check the location of the hole in my attic. For this purpose it worked great. Note that only the first few inches of the drill has a cutter and the rest of the drill is just a shank. Because it has such a small shank diameter, it can bend the chisel if you push it at an angle. All in all a good product at a good price.

Pros
  • For use with steel, copper, aluminium, brass, oak, maple, MDF, pine, PVC, polycarbonate, acrylic, ABS, nylon and composites
Cons
  • There are new competitors
