This blade cuts wood of varying thicknesses, hard and soft as butter. Pine, maple, mahogany, plywood. Make sure you set up your bandsaw properly and these saw blades will work great.
Terrible quality blade. Worthless. I put this blade on after hammering a nail with another brand of blade. After making three cuts, I put the damaged and dull blade back on and got better results. Bosch should be ashamed.
I have an old saw that I have been using for many years and it looked much better than this new one. Welding wasn't even, so it doesn't work evenly. It's so boring I couldn't cut a straight line. I've always made quality Bosch products, but this has definitely changed my opinion of Bosch.
Bought to saw on g0555x. 6" 8/4 Cherry. Truly the worst blade I've ever used. Burned out. Terrible drift. I looked further to see if I was flipping the blade. When used on a low powered Rikon 10 inch , a 4" veneer can easily be sawn through).
Thought I had a deal on this disc, but unless you plan to cut only 1/2 inch thick pine, do not purchase this item. Brand new out of the box, it wouldn't cut through 1" oak unless I push very hard. Buy well or buy twice - looks like I'll have a $30 blade at my local woodcraft store tomorrow buy. Learn from my stupidity!
The worst band saw blade I have ever used. When I first unboxed it, the blade looked different than other Bosch blades I've used in the past. Stupid out of the box. Tooth shifts are inconsistent and unusually wide. And the teeth themselves are dull and not hardened. I tried a test cut and it cut 1/4" thick plywood with difficulty. Then I tried a 1" thick piece of maple and it was awful. It took over 30 seconds to cut 1" into a 1" maple .Do not buy this blade!
Good brand name, very reasonable price but not low so I gave it a try. It was heck getting on the saw and caterpillar, I think it's cut to just under 93.5 inches. It has a curved blade so I knew it was going to be an aggressive cut, but something is wrong with the bit. I have a dull chainsaw with a finer cut. I won't use it again. No country of origin was listed on the packaging but the quality control was terrible. Used on Walnut, Paduak and Baltic Birch plywood with similarly poor results. I…
