Exceptional quality

Excellent drill bits. Ordered three after burning two holes of another brand trying to drill 7/16 holes in my 3/4 inch leaf springs. I didn't drill a hole with non-brand bits. Just one of the Bosch bits. My only regret now is that I ordered a lot of bits.

Pros
  • Best for drilling light metal, carbon steel, aluminum and alloys, cast iron, stainless steel and titanium
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Suitable for power tool parts and accessories

Bought this bit to cut through a broken grade 8 bolt. In case you didn't know, a grade 8 bolt is incredibly hard steel and is easy to machine eat with HSS drill bits for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As the name Bosch does not suggest otherwise, the drill is manufactured and milled with very high precision. Very sharp out of the box and after drilling out the grade 8 screw it's still in great condition. If you have very hard metals to drill, this drill bit can do it in the right bit.

Pros
  • Hardened finish for penetrating hard abrasive materials
Cons
  • Expensive

Don't try to drill 1/4 " stainless steel

Great price! That's about all that is good about this drill though. I bought 4 , opened all 4 and thought I could finish my project but couldn't even finish one hole. The description says "Best for drilling light alloy, high carbon steel, aluminum and alloy steel, cast iron, stainless steel and titanium." everything off maybe light alloy might work but not 1/4" stainless steel. I returned all 4 and am going to Lowes to buy a DeWalt DWA1288 as I need to finish my project before Revain can ship…

Pros
  • Withstands high temperatures for long periods of time (up to 1100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Cons
  • Some bugs
