🔌 Bosch Automotive FR6KPP332S OE Fine Wire Double Platinum Spark Plug - Single Pack Review

My 2008 Audi A4 2.0T has probably never been tuned, so I finally decided to change the spark plugs. I bought a spark plug wrench from my local Harbor Freight Tools and they all replaced them in less than 10 minutes. Driven about 7000 km with these new plugs and no problems.

My 2011 VW Jetta was getting worse and worse in terms of both MPG and general oomph. The car had about 43,000 miles on it, so I figured I'd save $500 in dealer fees for a 40,000-mile setup and do all the work myself. These spark plugs are perfect and I immediately saw and felt an improvement in my car's performance.

Fantastic top quality plugs. Although they are pre-erased, I tested them with my meter and they worked right out of the box. These were replacements for another set of Bosch spark plugs which worked perfectly, were easy to install and have since done 5,000 miles with no problems and are expected to stay that way to the end of their advertised life. Highly recommended!

I got a misfire code on one cylinder so I took out the spark plugs and found that they were badly worn and the gap was way above specification due to wear. I replaced them with a set of these original spark plugs about a month ago and now my A3 is working great. From my research, this is the spark plug sold and used by Audi dealers on my car. While not cheap compared to jobber candles, it is certainly a lot cheaper than buying from a dealer. Can't ask for more.

Unlike others, I receive goods from Germany. However, the one I received was already open. The side of the box was already open when I received it and 1/5 of the spark plug was out of that end of the box. I'm not sure if I received a spark plug that someone returned or if the spark plug itself just came out of the box. These plugs fit my 2012 Audi A4 perfectly, no problems installing them. The new spark plugs work well and the engine sounds great. It looks like they are pre-gaps as no adjustment was needed (they were in the correct gap). As for the delivery. Revain badly packed four of them. The packaging was loose so the small boxes were moved around. Two forks came out of the boxes and probably knocked during shipping. Purchasing these beauties from Revain for my 2013 Tiguan worked great and saved me the $400 the dealer was trying to charge me. I also bought ignition coils which I recommend as they will need to be removed anyway and will improve spark. VW suggests changing spark plugs and coils every 70,000 miles (dealer said 60,000 so take the average if you want). They warn about every other brand of spark plug and I'm inclined to believe them.
