Drill eats concrete like butter, but when the mix has a lot of aggregate in it, you have a tough time. I use this to drill through concrete on a patio, the drill bit was pretty much ruined after a (4) 5" deep hole.

Not an easy task! I got it to drill concrete anchors for a car lift in my garage. I've done eight of the sixteen anchor holes so far and this part shows little to no sign of wear or damage. I use a smaller drill bit for my pilot hole and have had to replace it twice. I am very happy with my purchase. In the future I will look for Bosch bits. It's also very fast. 4" drill bit for drilling 6" deep holes in garage cement floors. I didn't think the drill would drill all 16 holes so I bought 3 of these drills to use. The first thing I did was drill a shallow 1/4" pilot hole to guide the large 3/4" drill bit. I then used a hammer drill with firm but not overwhelming pressure.
