Worthless Drill Bit for Hard Surfaces

This industrial and scientific drill bit was a total disappointment. It claims to be able to drill through hard surfaces but it barely made a dent on concrete. The only positive thing about it is the sharpness of the bit. However, the cons far outweigh the pros, making it a complete waste of money. Save yourself the hassle and skip this one.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to the carbide construction.
Cons
  • May lose its sharpness over time with extensive use on hard materials.

Granite is strong! best in category Drill

The drill was put into operation immediately upon receipt and drilled through poured concrete basement walls and concrete stairs without any problems. He held his edge very well. I have no hesitation in recommending this blade to other users.

Pros
  • Twist drill
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I thought that with a new quality drill bit the remaining 5 holes would be easy. Even drilling 1/4" then 1/2" then 5/8" pilot holes I was surprised at how slow and difficult the drilling was before trying to get that 7/8" bit. Now, maybe my hammer drill isn't state-of-the-art, but it's a hammer drill, not a regular drill, and a less…

  • Drill Bit
