Works flawlessly on hardboard

I had to cut a circle about 15" in diameter on hardboard (used in bathrooms as waterproof underlay used before tiling). ) for mosaic project. I made a conductor so that the puzzle is guided all the time. The material is 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick and this blade cuts through it with no difficulty. On my first try, the cut was perfectly straight, but the circle was still too big and I had to cut off about 1/4 inch. When trying to remove this small strip, the blade slipped sideways so the cut wasn't…

Pros
  • 30 grit diamond matrix glued to the edge of the blade cuts through the hardest and most abrasive materials
Cons
  • Vulgarity

I'm not a professional, I use this blade to cut ceramic tiles with a jigsaw. I don't have a wet saw. I use this blade to make more precise cuts than a manual tile cutter or wire cutter. Cuts fairly evenly, with small chips on the surface of the tile. There are fewer shavings on the surface of the tile than when using an angle grinder, but I don't have a porcelain file for a grinder. I experimented with this blade by slowly cutting through the tile, using a gentle jet of water on the blade to…

Pros
  • pack 1 pc
Cons
  • almost everything is fine

Ideal for porcelain tiles

I was remodeling my basement bathroom and found a fantastic 12x24 tile at the Re-Store. Excellent quality, porcelain, fluff side of the porcelain stoneware, it's hard. That means you can't just cut it like ceramic tile, you need diamond blades and bits. I started using my Roto Zip with a diamond blade to cut out the shower fixtures and it turned out to be a chore, I used a $20 diamond hole saw and it took about 20 minutes to cut the handle. So when it came time to cut the toilet flange, I went…
