A bit difficult. good for drills

Sturdy little drill - goes right through concrete rock - unlike the cheap hardware store concrete drills I've tried before.

Pros
  • For use with masonry fastening systems/hex socket tools
Cons
  • Expensive

You will receive a BOSCH magnetic key, not a drill.

You will receive a BOSCH magnetic key, not a drill. I currently have TWO magnetic keys. I really don't need anything. There is a sticker on the back of the small item stating that it is a masonry drill bit. The front of the small item correctly describes it as a magnetic socket wrench. What fun! Update: I was supposed to get a replacement, looks like I didn't get one. Well, let's go to the Orange hardware store.

Pros
  • High-quality carbide tip for a long service life
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

These bits didn't help much

I bought two of these at a local hardware store to complete a project I was working on and was attaching plywood to an old concrete slab around the house. However, I was very disappointed that I went through these two BOSCH 3/16" bits after ONLY drilling 20 2" holes or so. I really haven't drilled more than 1-2 holes in a row without giving the punch and pausing. I had only a few holes left to drill when the second drill started to fail, so I used one of my 5/32" drill bits to drill pilot holes

Pros
  • Hex to bit fits drive hub
Cons
  • Requires socket
