Stay away . not worth buying!

Wow these speakers don't work right out of the box. The sound of one of the two speakers is already burned out, very scratchy distorted sound, not even connected to an amplifier. Only works with 30W from main unit. Very unhappy with these

Not sure why there are bad reviews unless you are looking for studio sound.

I don't know why there are bad reviews on these, if you're not looking for studio sound and just want to replace worn out stock speakers, they work and sound great at a low price. Installed on a 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty Extended Cab. So I bought 4 of them.

Very good quality, the best in automotive and automotive electronics

I'm really surprised how well they work. I put them in my 99 f150 because all 4 of my speakers are junk. I bought these two to replace the other two later, but they work well enough. I'll just stop at this one, I'm happy with the sound. I should add that my truck is a single cab, maybe that's why.

For all the people with one star

These are great speakers for the money, like a stock car audio system. Of course you won't get much bass from 5x7s, they aren't subwoofers, you're just getting a certain amount of amps out of the radio channel without going through an amplifier. Yes of course, turn it on, it will sound distorted and broken because you probably just blew them, not meant for that. When it says 300w it means they can handle it, they might not sound that great but it's what they can handle without blowing it up and

Perfect size for 05 Explorer

Used for front door speakers in 05 Explorer, they fit perfectly and bolt on. The sound is really good for the price and you only really see the color of the speaker when the sunlight hits the door panel, which I personally think is pretty cool. It's been 8 months and these speakers are still working.

Overall great speakers for the price.

Purchased to replace the stock speakers in a 1997 Thunderbird. Highs and mids sound great, bass is a bit weak, but that's to be expected for the price. I also installed two 10s in the bass case anyway. Highly recommended as an upgrade to stock. The only annoying thing is the fastening tabs at 3 and 9 o'clock, which I had to bend back under the speaker panel.
