Good amp for the money.

Considering the cost of these amplifiers, their performance is amazing. It works for me with a 10" Alpine Type S subwoofer and seems like the perfect match. The bass is tight, powerful and clear. If you are looking for a good budget amp, get one of these.

I'm glad I bought this and not the brand

I used this amplifier with 1 Sony 12" subwoofer in a sealed box connected to a standard stereo, to add some depth to the music and it worked great. The remote control allows me to fine tune the bass or just turn it off altogether. Boss Audio is a good product to get the sound you want without the expensive expense of other brands that sound the same. None of us are rock stars here, so why waste money like we do

Cons
  • Minor issues

nice, but not everything is so great.

This amp is big and looks great The downside is it's only two ohms stable, gets really hot for what I paid for it, just need an amp that's one ohm stable, I am confused, this is good for 10" or 12" subwoofers that are not powerful. I have two subwoofers for audio tubes. ok i like the bass it hurts my ears its far from what i would recommend for people who like some bass but not for pc use lol also its nice design is great for editing. I'll get another one lol

You get what you pay for

It lasted a year and not a day longer. I've definitely become a fan of BOSS audio systems now and would choose them over any other brand for their exceptionally low prices and seemingly high standards. But when my amp started to falter when I only turned it up to 1/4 of the max, I got frustrated. I've never set the gain on the amp higher than 1/2, and the gain control attached to the cable that goes with the amp to my center console is rarely more than half either. Having checked all other…

OVER POWER fits amp

Bought this amp for my son's car to add to a Chaos Boss 4 channel amp which we are very happy with. I thought if the Onyx amp put out 50% RMS of rated power that would be more than enough, but NO. I connected 2 duel 4 ohm subwoofers with 400 watts RMS to 1 channel with a total load of 4 ohms. I estimated the power output to be around 500W to 600W RMS at 14V. I spent hours trying to get more power out of it using car stereo inputs, plugging directly into a spare battery and changing the way…
