🚗 BOSS AR3000D Car Amplifier: Class D, 3000 Watts, 1 Ohm Stable, Digital, Monoblock, Mosfet Power Supply Review

This is a Boss product so it's not the best in the range but you'll probably get around 950W RMS which isn't too bad for the price but it is no 3k amp. It worked very reliably but clips with just over half the gain at 23 out of 25 volume on a 12" SSA 1750 RMS subwoofer. Although it looks very good. Note: There is a black stripe to the left of the logo in the image , this is the led strip i installed for the effect.

Used to boost a single sunset by 12 inches into a 2 ohm resistance. Has no trouble hitting full travel or any reach issues. The adjustment knobs were uneven in tension, everything worked fine, only some were difficult to turn without undressing, others I could easily turn by hand. Includes all mounting screws and an extra set of fuses in the box. However, for the value it does what I need it to and works as expected right out of the box.

For the price you really can't beat this amp. Admittedly its output isn't anywhere near 3kW but for what it does it overclocks my 2 12" subwoofers much better than my old branded amp. I think this amp is great value for money. They most likely don't compete in the bass range, so this is ideal for driving a pair of subwoofers with a smaller amp. I only installed it for a day, but if anything changes I'll definitely update this review.

Well, I'm not the type to rant and rave about the products I buy, but. This amp is a bad mom! I have 2 Pyle 12" DVCs rated at 1200w each plugged into 1 ohm and I set the gain to less than half. So everyone should know that the power rating on them is at least 3 1 ohm LESS than it actually is (divide by 3) as they say. Just buy accordingly. I have a Pioneer Champion Pro 12" 600W subwoofer that I plug into 2 ohms and it works great (about 500-600 watts into 2 ohms). That works fine too (should give about 1000 watts). If you set the amplifier to the correct gain and all the settings, you will not have problems with speaker burnout. Many reviews here say they fried the amp or blew the speakers with this amp.
