This cable tie is very strong and designed for heavy-duty applications. Probably more than I need for my 70lb bully. But the clips are awesome! You need 2 hands to hook and unhook. It shouldn't be that hard.

Amazing! Very durable. My dog is not that big, only 70 pounds. My logic was that this product would be durable and long lasting. Who knows, maybe in the future I'll have a big dog too. Considering buying another one for a puppy. She's pretty cute when she's being chased by that big bulky thing. That doesn't slow her down at all. It also withstands teething and even my dog sometimes bites into it. No harm done.

The clasp on this unit is the reason I bought it. Much stronger than a traditional thumb closure. This one will not freeze if left outside when not in use! **Update - wish they had lasted longer given the quality clasp! The sheath of a wire cable will become brittle over time (< years of use) and the internal strands of the cable will wear and tear. Maybe adding better weather resistant sleeve/jacket material would help?

WARNING: MAY NOT BE SAFE. My order came with defective (cheap and flimsy) buckle hooks, not the advertised ones. The hooks made it easy to slip off the D-ring on my dog's collar and it came off and could be hit by a car. I didn't realize the hooks weren't what was pictured in their listing until I boxed them up to return to the seller. PLEASE MAKE SURE WHEN ORDERING THIS ITEM. THAT THE HOOKS ARE HEAVY AND THESE ARE IN AD. THEY SHOULD BE FAT AND THICK LIKE THE PICTURE.
