The clasp is great/the cable jacket could be stronger
The clasp on this unit is the reason I bought it. Much stronger than a traditional thumb closure. This one will not freeze if left outside when not in use! **Update - wish they had lasted longer given the quality clasp! The sheath of a wire cable will become brittle over time (< years of use) and the internal strands of the cable will wear and tear. Maybe adding better weather resistant sleeve/jacket material would help?
