Great when you don't have a compressor handy

Much larger and heavier than my air-driven brad nailers but works great in those situations where you don't have a compressor handy or for smaller jobs where you don't want to haul it in and set it up. When you've got a compressor ready to go or for larger jobs you won't want to use this. I suppose it would be good for a homeowner without a compressor, but it would be cheaper to get a pancake-style compressor and BOSTITCH BTFP12233 standard nailer or even BOSTITCH BTFP3KIT this 3-tool kit with…

Pros
  • Tool-free jam release to quickly and easily clear nail jams
Cons
  • The LED work light on the nailer is not very bright, making it difficult to see in lowlight or dark conditions

This is a good gun, but

This is a good gun, but, it's the same exact gun as the DeWalt (both made by the same company). Get the DeWalt. It's $20 cheaper and the batteries work in other DeWalt tools. Why get the Bostich if the batteries only work in Bostich nailers?

Pros
  • ‎(1) BCN680 18 GA Brad Nailer, (1) BCB203 20V MAX* High Capacity Li-Ion Battery (2.0Ah), (1) BCB115 Charger, (1) Adjustable Belt Hook, (1) Kit Bag.
Cons
  • The nailer can be prone to jamming, causing delays in projects and requiring time-consuming maintenance to fix

excellent quality nailer

This is a good nailer. We've been using it to quickly assemble basic Christmas crates and it works well for that purpose. It takes easy to find brad nails of varying lengths. The battery seems to work very well. After an overnight charge we were able to use it almost constantly for a couple hours with no noticeable loss of power. I will say that it's a large tool and is a bit combersome for me to use although my husband doesn't have the same problem. For a woman with average to small sized…

Pros
  • ‎5.4 pounds
Cons
  • The noise level of the nailer is quite loud, which can be disruptive and potentially damage hearing with prolonged use

Everyone needs one of these.

My husband and I have been taking on more and more projects ourselves this past year to repair and upgrade our home. Neither of us have ever used a nailer before but this came at the perfect time as we are working on replacing the paneling and trim work in our basement. It is fairly light weight and sooo much easier to use than conventional nailing. My husband does most of the work with it and really likes the speed that we work at now. The battery seems to be strong and has not faded on us…

Pros
  • ‎12 x 10.7 x 3.7 inches
Cons
  • The depth adjustment mechanism on the nailer can be difficult to navigate and may require additional tools to make adjustments
