Solid bit I couldn't find at the hardware store

I checked all the major hardware stores and couldn't find a 7/8 bit. The reviews have been mixed but I have nothing but good things to say. I suppose others have tried making big passes with this lure, but I've had great success with two passes for the depth I was trying to hit.

Pros
  • power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • weak

This is another Yonico bit I've purchased from Revain and it hasn't disappointed; I haven't had a "bad" yet. in pine, maple and red oak on my setup (a Kreg router table fitted with a Triton TRA001). sharp as new The Beat came nicely packaged in a plastic sleeve that can be used for hanging, for those who prefer to keep it that way.

Good bit, excellent value for money

BLUF: Nice beat, great value. There are some problems with sap build-up on the teeth, but it cleans up nicely with a little degreaser. I bought this bit a few months ago to replace an old unwanted Ryobi bit that could have been a dull butter knife when used on hard rock. This tip has surprised me so far with the quality of the cuts, although it lags behind the more expensive Freud tips in terms of lift. Use with thin (1/32 inch) veneer will require a bit of touch up, but 400 grit sandpaper…

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
