Amazing amount of power available even in low light

The 40 amp version of the MPPT keeps my battery perfectly charged. I have an inverter to provide 120VAC 24x7 to a place where I don't have electricity. Unfortunately, the remote reader comes without instructions. I needed to know the error code, so I contacted tech support for advice. Answered with instructions on how to return the block, ugh. The remote control manual is not available online or on AMZN.

Works much better than my cheap PWM controller. Nice display and fast full charge

I have three 100w panels in parallel and two 100ah deep cycle batteries in parallel. I've been using a very cheap PWM charge controller for several years. Upgrading was easy. The display has no backlight, but is large and easy to read. I immediately saw a difference in charging performance and the information displayed is accurate and meaningful. So far this device seems great!

Energy controls seem to be the most broken

Lots of minor issues. But I'm pretty sure it's garbage. First, I have the wrong system voltage. It's off at 0.2V. I thought maybe my onboard system voltmeter was off so I connected a multimeter to the battery terminals and to the charge controller battery terminals and they both read +0.2V higher, or just that, what my embedded system is saying. Also, even in full midday sun with a 100w panel it tells me I'm plugging in 2 amps. Third, I'm pretty sure it's actually draining power since myโ€ฆ

Energy regulators are almost worth it

This product would be ideal if it had one important attribute; Buttons to actually make changes to the settings. There is a button that only allows you to scroll, you cannot change anything. I don't know why it's made the way it is. This is fine for charging my two 12V 100A batteries. Give it a try and see if it works for you as it charges my batteries well. Just don't let your batteries drop below 11V or you'll get an error message. And I don't think it's charging from solar panels above 14Vโ€ฆ

Works great - excellent tech support

Tech support was quick to respond to my questions. The product is launched and works perfectly. It easily recognizes different panels. I have a large 250 watt 24 volt panel on the back of my pickup that I use when I hook it up to an RV. When NOT plugged into a pickup I use three portable 100 watt 12 volt pads which it recognizes with no problem. I have 12 volt lithium batteries that I had to do the initial setup for. I had some issues initially because my setup was inline and the deviceโ€ฆ

Small 20 amp PWM solar charge controller

solar charge controller works well. I've used it with (2) 100 watt HQST panels in parallel and it seems to be putting out around 130 watts in early March. I think on a sunny day without fog it will probably be a bit more. In the photos here it is connected to one (1) 100 watt HQST panel and puts out around 70 watts. I like the fact that it comes with ring connectors to plug in. It was a nice touch. The device is quite light and not very thick. The LCD works well and is easy to prepare. My onlyโ€ฆ
