I really hate writing bad reviews but sometimes it's just necessary. Many parts were deformed, especially small ones. I've noticed that most of the distortion occurs where the "Ti" coverage ends. Judging by the reviews, I'm not the only one who has had a number of bad reviews. These bits also bend easily and wear to the point where I think they are old plain low carbon steel with a "Ti" finish painted on for marketing purposes only. "Ti" is also deleted almost immediately. But I like the box.

All the bits in my kit are

I needed a 7mm bit for a custom pulley I made to mount a stepper motor on a camera carriage. Attempting to find metric bits in Lowes or Harbor Freight will not work. Granger and other reputable industry suppliers wanted as much for a pair of drills as I paid for this entire set. When I received the kit I measured the shafts and yes some of them are undersized by as much as 0.05mm. When measuring the flutes, each of them was correct. They are HSS stamped but I can't pinpoint the Rockwell…

Good metric drills, solid

If processed well, these are good solid drills. I use them to drill 6061 aluminum and various types of plastic (ABS, PLA) in connection with my work building 3D printers and making plastic parts with these printers. The diameters are good, not crooked and not big. They cut well, although of course they cut aluminum better with a little oil. The coating will wear off over time after prolonged use or abuse. I'll admit I've made several oval holes with one racquet, but it didn't seem to have a…
