A great and inexpensive way to replace a broken hood on a 2001 Lexus GS430. Replacing my old ones with these is so easy I've barely consulted their instruction manual! I have a 1999 Lexus GS300 and they fit perfectly. Replacing them was as simple as unscrewing the old ones, screwing in the new knobs, and snapping them into place. It lasted about 30 minutes, 15 of them tried to undress 19 year olds, these jerks were DA. Very impressed with the packaging, individually wrapped in a pouch that is fully sealed to keep dirt and debris out. Now that I've bought these, it's easy to change them out again in the future by simply snapping them off and screwing them back

Easy. Installed on a 2001 Lexus GS300. About 20 minutes. Unscrewing regular screws takes more time than installing racks. All you need is an original 12mm wrench. Simply unscrew the original screws from the hood and engine compartment and mount. OEM struts have the same ball mount, but it should not be removed and will be very difficult to manage. The hardware included in the kit is simply screwed back into the original holes as with the OEM. The luggage racks are attached like the originals…
