I installed them on my wife's BMW X5 E53 and they fit perfectly. Hood recoiled from a shock that could have hurt one of my arms. They work great. highlighted.

I love her. Too bad I replaced it a long time ago. Old ones are easy to remove and replace. Watch a YouTube video on replacing the front cowl pistons. And damn cheaper than the BMW dealer.

The perfect replacement for an OEM part that has lost its grip on the hood. Installation was too easy to believe, just plug in new ones, no need to pop the latch. It was hard to get the old ones off! As long as it would take to order the part from a local store, I got it from Revain.

I don't know why I waited so long. $20 sir. Guess I thought swapping would be difficult but imagine my surprise when the installation took about 5 minutes and my hood held up perfectly again. Used a makeshift support bar and warned service providers to beware of a very heavy bonnet that could do major damage if quickly dropped overhead. Please don't ask me how I know that. So shame on me.
