Shocking experience

The price was amazing - the location of the shock absorbers in the Corvette made installation a bit tricky. Pulls like new

Worthy replacement - spare parts

Not bad overall. This is an economical replacement. I had to send one back because it arrived with a bad seal, no print in a bag filled with oil. Installation wasn't as bad, but not as easy as with the serial connectors.

Perfect for 2006 Corvette Convertible.

Replaced the original pillars on a 2006 Corvette Convertible. The installation took about 5 minutes. The truck's lid now rises a few inches when the trunk release button is pressed. Hope they last long.

Great when the thicker part is attached at the top.

They are very easy to install on my C6 Corvette. Took the old ones off and installed these replacements in 5 minutes or less. The trunk reopens when the option is selected on my key fob.

Fixed an issue where the C5 Convertible trunk wouldn't open high enough to get fingers under, or the trunk lid would fall off when open.

The second set I bought, the first for my 2004 Corvette Convertible, the second for my 2003 Corvette Convertible. I had an issue with the trunk not opening far enough to slip my finger under it after pressing the trunk open button or using the trunk open button on the key fob unless I opened and closed the car door. After replacing the struts, it extends again just far enough for me to open the trunk without having to open and close the car doors. If you have the same problem, the trunk won't…
