10 Minute Installation - Shocks, Struts and Suspension

This 10 minute time estimate involves going back to my garage, getting a small flathead screwdriver, then going to the Jeep, and then installing these rear window regulators . At. It's important to note that this isn't the case if you're used to a slow-moving, sagging window that only opens halfway. Wear a mask because these things open with the power of a thousand suns.

Pros
  • Nice Stuff
Cons
  • Factor Set

Fits 2008 Jeep Commander

I installed one of the two pillars that came with it on my Commander's rear window. The new rack has so much power that it would cost too much to install both. It doesn't appear to be exerting excessive or unbalanced force on the window. Installation was easy - a small bracket is used to hold the strut in place; Using a small straight blade screwdriver I ripped off the brackets, removed the old post, installed the new post and brackets and I was done. The product worked for me as advertised.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Used on Jeep Commander 2008: Great value for the rear window riser braces

We need to replace the rear window riser braces. We photographed the original lifting legs, searched Revain by brand and manufacturer and this set of Boxi came to us. Said it was good for 2006-2010 Jeep Commanders. You can see in the pictures how they arrived in the package. We have attached two photos of how far the rear window opens with the old, original rear window pillars. We've also included a video showing how the rear window works now that we've installed Boxi's new lifting struts…

Pros
  • Fits great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
