Much better than powder for the money. I had to use the whole tube of powder for one dose in my reservoir but got 3 doses of liquid.

I have used and have been completely satisfied with Boyd products in this hobby for decades. This is completely unusable and has brought absolutely nothing despite several treatments. Chemipure has been removed. Just didn't do anything.

Cyanobacteria usually grow from dead fish that have not been removed from the aquarium. Dry cleaning is a great way to get rid of them. Just follow the instructions carefully and you should see success. It didn't seem to have harmed my fish, but my crabs and snails did.

I have used this product in powder form several times in the past with excellent results. Now that I've had the opportunity to use this liquid form and see that I get equally good results with it, I believe the liquid form will be my go-to choice in the future. Boyd Chemiclean has always worked well for me and I recommend it.

Used up a whole bottle of this and am getting another bottle to reduce phosphate in a Miarine tank. I treated it first and then used it as a maintenance product, re-dosing a few days before a scheduled water change. I also use gfo and carbon. I will buy it again and try to use it regularly as maintenance to see if I can keep my phosphates under control. I mainly feed my fish fresh shrimp that I cook for them so I'm not sure why this is such an uphill battle for me.

Follow the dosage instructions and you won't be disappointed. It's amazing to see how it works. Red smear on glass and gravel just goes away after a few days, but be realistic. I've used this before, one tip, follow the instructions below. I removed the drain plug on the skimmer and just turned the skimmer down a bit. It foams like crazy, but the skimmer adds the extra air the tank needs during processing.
