I prefer other brands of Boye hooks and metal hooks. I don't like plastic hooks, unfortunately they bend and warp easily on me. I will always choose Boye over other brands. The shape of the hook tip is easier to insert into the yarn than others and I like the length of the hook

This is a crochet hook and it works. I love to crochet and I have a lot of different sized needles. Every now and then I lose one and have to replace it. That happened here. Of course, after ordering this, I found a lost hook in a ball of yarn. You do not know?

Boye used to be a very good quality hook and I had almost a complete set. These large sizes were missing. I found the stitching on them to be rough, while on my older (smaller) hooks they're almost seamless and smooth. However, the hook isn't coarse enough to cling to the threads, so it passes in that regard. I think there might be some Boye hooks that don't work as well: and will be too gross; catches and breaks the yarn. I don't know if there are better quality hooks (aluminum). I noticed…
