I have well-fitting cotton masks, so well-fitting that I definitely felt the closeness of the mask when I breathed in. This frame gives me a more comfortable feeling and helps me to wear the mask longer. I shared it with family who were equally pleased. I'll buy back to share with other friends.

I liked these because I could speak clearly and even whistle if I wanted to while wearing a mask. But my mask has a lot of heat and moisture and is plastic and it rubs against my skin around my mouth and nose, causing breakouts. But everything about Covid sucks so at least I was able to speak clearly.

I have tried several mask mounts. This fits relatively well under the mask and provides some much-needed breathing space. You no longer have to inhale the mask into your nose or mouth. However, the nose area is wide and rounded, creating a gap between it and the nose. I'm still learning different mask styles so the mask arm and wire don't conflict with each other and my goggles. I recommend using a larger mask or longer ear loops than usual to give extra breathing room without causing ear pain.
