Bought this product for my 12 year old daughter who has lacrosse braces. It was a mold. We followed the instructions and it still turned out to be awful. She wouldn't wear it at all. Of course this is non-refundable and was a waste of $. Wouldn't buy again. I'll just buy another Shock Doctor.

My son has been playing football since he was 1 year old and is not yet used to mouthguards. We have completed 2 previous sets. One was expensive, flavored, which we bought from Dick, and the other cheap, which cannot be molded. Both only lasted a week. This one has held up much better so far and also fits better.

The molding process was fairly easy and became safe and convenient after 1 attempt at cooking. Good breaks because I can't breathe properly through my nose, which can be a problem when people hit you.

BUYERS BEWARE! I received a used item that has already been resized. Bought for my 8 year old son to play soccer. My son actually put this thing in his mouth while I was reading the sizing instructions which are also blurry and indistinct. This is my third purchase of this mouthguard, two youth and one adult for my 13 year old. My sons use this mouthguard for both soccer and hockey and they love it. This is the first mouthguard I've found that they never complain about. They say it's comfortable and makes breathing easier. I found it easy to shape if you follow the directions, you just need to make sure it fits your bottom teeth first before biting off and sucking out the water/air.
