DO NOT BUY - Glow Plug Garbage

Glow Plugs. I had not one but two complete sets of these spark plugs that failed on two different trucks in less than 3 months. One set was less than 18 months old and the other less than 6 months old (and 950 miles). The candles themselves broke and fell out. I'm not sure if they were fake or just a really bad print but I'm disappointed to say the least. From now on I use Diesel Rx spark plugs. So Motorcraft (Beru) it was a good run but you let me down one last time.

If you are DIY, don't buy!

About 80% of buyers do it themselves like I do, but if a glow plug fails, the seller will ask for a mechanic's letter or documentation proving the glow plug failed. The price at the local store near me is $120. / hour when glow plugs are only $77 at the exchange rate. I'm a Red Seal Electrician in Canada and I'm willing to prove it with a multimeter and send back the bad ones too. I only have 5 bad ones and one completely dead. I installed them in October and now it's January so it's only been…

Counterfeit and/or poor quality. Failed within a year.

Seems like a good deal until they start to fail. With the onset of cold, my '97 F350 began to struggle to start. I put these glow plugs in last fall, they're less than a year old so they can't be glow plugs right? I suspected a glow plug relay or possibly UHF. Aside from 4 out of 8 being dead, the resistance is >100kΩ. Well damn that's why it's hard to get started. As is typical of Amazon, there's a lot of unfounded Chinese crap out there, and it may or may not be. It's hard to tell when…
