Good product, also

The grip sometimes loosens in the head when punching dies or doing heavy work. I just tighten the top back up and twist it back in place. You'll probably need to tape it for long-term use. Good product otherwise.

Pros
  • hand tool
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Large Slap Hammer

I've been hitting with a much lighter hammer and that sometimes meant looking up if I didn't hit hard enough. This hammer isn't too heavy, but its weight is enough to do some of the work for you. The grip is much more comfortable than I expected and while there is some snagging on the hammer this is to be expected and shouldn't be a problem.

Cons

Good for punching: power and hand tools

This hammer is very heavy and there are days when I can't use it. It works well for stamping and leaves a clear print with one touch. This hammer is not intended for those with limited arm movement due to arthritis due to the weight.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Dear

Big Percussion Hammer

I used to punch with a much lighter hammer and sometimes had to look back if I didn't hit hard enough. This hammer isn't too heavy, but its weight is enough to do some of the work for you. The grip is a lot more comfortable than I expected and while there is some confusion on the hammer surface this is to be expected and shouldn't be a problem.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete

The handle is thin and could break.

Nice hammer, I didn't realize the handle was a thin hollow tube (broken at the threads) with a metal rod in the middle. Poor design, good head but if you use this replace the handle if you use it like a 2lb sledgehammer which it is. I was just lucky that I swung this out from under my arm when it broke, which happened when I touched the surface of the drive shaft, the head wanted to turn. I tried to stop it by putting a pen to my head. but apparently the torsion the head created broke the…
