Works great for kneading bread

The only thing I've done with it so far is make some bread dough and it resists a bit when the dough gets tough. I'm not sure if hand mallets are suitable for this. To be honest, a stand mixer is the only option for heavier mixes, but I was drawn to the idea of using a hand mixer. I was only able to film the first part because when the dough really came together and set, I needed another hand to hold the bowl steady. I love that these whisks have a slow start speed as they allow you to mix and…

I just don't see more power or half the effort with this hand mixer

This hand mixer is advertised as having 50% more power and half the effort. I beg to differ. I ordered this to replace my old 5 speed KitchenAid which I found was slow even at top speed. Turns out, Braun's hand mixer isn't really that much faster or more powerful, and the blending results between the two are almost imperceptible. I think with nine gears and turbocharging I expected more power than I actually see. When it comes to operation, my old KitchenAid wins - it's much easier to flick the

Big upgrade for my old hand blender

My old blender finally broke after long and reliable service so I ordered this as a replacement. As much as I liked my previous one, I like this new mixer a lot more. First, it's more powerful but much quieter than my old mixer. It effortlessly masters all the usual stirring and beating tasks in the kitchen. It comes with a beater/whisk and dough hook. Kneading hooks are good for homemade cakes and other baked goods. I don't bake bread, so I can't comment on that. The nozzles can be easily…

An excellent hand mixer, if not the most powerful.

The MutliMix hand mixer from Braun is a well-made and reliable mixer. It's all plastic, but the plastic is high-quality and the blender feels good in your hand thanks to the rubberized grip. The beaters and kneading hooks are also strong and well made. Whisks are quickly and easily inserted into the blender. The blender will not turn on without the agitators installed, which is very convenient. The speed dial is large and easy to adjust with a wide range of speeds and almost infinite…

Works perfectly! for hand mixer

Used this brown for the first time to bake banana bread a few weeks ago. I got my old hand mixer from Dollar General for $20 I think so it's a huge upgrade. And now that I've used it, I'll never go back to the cheaper ones! First of all, the design of this whisk is amazing! The whisks are made of very thin metal that has no gaps to better get stuck in. So it's very easy to clean them up and I don't feel like I'm wasting a ton of dough even when I'm making cookie dough. However, I have mixed…

Powerful, versatile, vastly superior to my old blender

I bought this Braun HM5100WH MultiMix hand mixer because my daughter was serious about our old GE hand mixer from the 70's that we inherited from grandmothers was disappointed. We've had good success with Braun small appliances and this blender is no different. Wow! It's powerful. It doesn't help that it's replacing an older model that's being retired, but the fact that it's nearly three times as powerful does. Yes, this blender makes things easy, like stirring butter that hasn't come out of…

  • Makes me mad

We cook and bake a lot in our house, especially in the winter. It's always nice to have an extra mixer as we have several novice bakers at home. I got it as a replacement for one of the children. HOW IT IS MADE It comes in a box. There is a fold out guide, a base, two sets of mallets and a cloth bag for storage. The center button ejects the mallets. ON/OFF SWITCH The switch is located on the bottom of the handle so you cannot accidentally turn it off. STIRRER I'm used to metal whisks. They're…

Brawny Brown Side by Side Comparison with Kitchenaid

Side by Side Comparison, Kitchenaid 5 Speed vs. Braun 9 Speed. The results are below. I bought this in hopes of replacing two blenders I already have: a Kitchenaid 5-Speed hand mixer and a Kitchenaid 5-Quart Artisan Tilt-Head (Beast) Countertop Mixer. It might seem silly to compare a hand mixer to a powerful stand mixer, but the stand mixer sits in my basement collecting dust - it's too heavy and I bake less than I used to. So I want the best hand mixer I can find. A Kitchenaid hand mixer costs
