Very long, sharp and does a great job. Well constructed. No rusting. Has a small plastic tip for protection while in storage. Best ice pick I have found.

I am a locksmith and have always used cheap ice picks and they have sharp pointed tips great for removing door knobs. This ice pick has a blunt tip not really what I was looking for but it is solid.

I am perfectly happy with this ice pick. I bought it for the purpose of leaving it inside an ice container in my freezer as we do not have an icemaker on my fridge. Store but ice cubes or ice I make from my countertop icemaker seem always become frozen together. We use this to put the fish we catch out of their misery. So far, it has held up in salt water, and it does the job. The point may be good for ice breaking, but it is not quite pointy enough for fish heads. A bit of sharpening may help.Good value, very stout.

The ice pic was well-made nothing flimsy about it. The grip is very solid and have some rubber type material so your hand won’t slip. I’ve used it to separate ice of course and I put water bottles in the freezer to get cold. If water is frozen in the neck of the bottle I just take the bottle place it in something that will hold it and it won’t slip and then I just put the pick in the top and just give it a of couple pops and I’m ready to go.

These are very hefty, sturdy, comfortable-to-hold ice picks that go through the sanitize cycle of the dishwasher without an issue. They do exactly what you think they do. :)

This is a very sturdy ice pick however, it is big and bulky making it cumbersome to use. It would be great to pick away at large blocks of ice, but I wanted it for help in thawing out heavy frost in a freezer and separating frozen items that stuck together. This is too bulky for those uses.
