Bought 2 within a year

Bought 2 within a year. The first fell apart after 8 months. The second lasted only 2 days. With a 90 day guarantee, I wasn't able to claim my damages until the second Revain return. I bought another one from my local parts store for $3 less.

Pros
  • Starters & Alternators
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Waste of time and money

I don't usually write bad reviews. I usually think if you don't have anything to say, don't say anything at all, except. To be honest this is a poor quality product. I should have listened to all the other reviews on here that said that, but no. Not me. I replaced this solenoid in my lawn mower with a defective one. It failed after one run. I ran to the auto parts store and bought for about the same price and now my problem is solved. Don't waste your time and money with this POS product.

Pros
  • Starter and parts
Cons

Fixed my $10 restoration mower. About a week. UPDATED

My $10 mower got fixed. The mower got stuck because the guy who had it before tried to jump over the clamps (wrong way) with a light switch and a Romex out of the house to try to get the starter to turn. Put this new battery with the plus on one end, the plus on the starter, then switch 12v down to actuate the solenoid, which then forces the solenoid to connect the battery to the starter and it ( correct) locked. . The solenoid then needs to be mounted to the frame to be grounded (not shown)…

  • Solenoids
