Save yourself the trouble and skip these wooden rectangles. Arts and crafts should be fun, but these have been nothing but frustrating. Through trial and error, I found that the wood is too soft and the edges are uneven. Plus, they require heavy sanding and finishing just to look presentable. The only upside is that they come in a variety of sizes.

I use these rectangles to decoupage a picture, attach string and use them as medallions to use our black powder shooting. Perfect size!

For ten dollars. 60 of them with this quality are thefts. They are all flat and have the same dimensions. The only issue I had was some had tiny shards on them. Although ten dollars is the only problem, I'm fine with that. Note: if you paint on it, use a primer or coat of paint before doing the details and such. The tree smears the paint.
