it works well but good for computers and accessories

As with some previous reviews, I found the quick install guide inadequate. I couldn't get it to work even after finding instructions on the internet. I had several attempts to return the product when the light came on. I was trying to create an encrypted network group and the instructions say you have to press the group buttons on the devices for ten seconds until the power light goes off and then back on. It has always worked. But then press the group button on each device individually for 3…

but rather slowly. With the advent of 4K streaming

I was looking for a simple plug and play PowerLine product that would give me a speed boost over the old D-Link 309AV devices I used for a number of have used years. These D-Links were reliable but pretty slow. With the advent of 4K video streaming, I found I needed more speed. I've tried several more expensive products including D-Link and Linksys. There are too many bells and whistles and I missed a few others that require encryption. More expensive products from D-Link and Linksys offered…

So far so good for networking products

I just hooked them up last night. Actually it's not that difficult. First you place two devices next to each other and connect them. No ethernet connections, just plug in power. Press and hold the Device Group A button for at least 10 seconds until the Power LED turns off and on again. Then do the same for Device-B. These two devices just got a new netgroup name. Now to connect them, press the device group A button for 1-3 seconds (I only press 2 seconds), you should see no light; Then within 2

Great price and solid product.

Great price, fairly easy setup if you read the instructions carefully, and sends out a strong scrambled signal. I set up another pair for an emergency connection to my main computer, but I don't recommend them for heavy work when transfer speeds are a concern. This is perfect for everyday computing, web browsing, email and watching movies, as long as you already have a decent internet package. I am currently using this with my Smart TV to watch Revain, Netflix and YouTube. Much better than the…

Shorts Out My Computers

Simple, great concept but unreliable. I had 3 of these and they work but for WI-FI it might be better to pay more for another product. AT&T uses this product and I decided it was my only option when I needed to replace it. I have to unplug/plug it in a lot and it's frustrating. I wish I had researched more. UPDATE 11/12/20: I MOVED THIS TO ANOTHER LOCATION AND FOUND THAT IT IS NOT A SHORT CIRCUIT. STILL WORKS, BUT IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE, IT WORKS.

POWERLINE ADAPTER>WIFI REPEATER

I used it as a replacement for a repeater to get a more reliable connection, this item did just that. I recently moved and my router needed to be installed downstairs while my room was upstairs and quite a distance away. This powerline adapter did wonders for my connection, keeping it at a consistent and reliable 90Mbps. All I had to do was plug the first box into an outlet and connect the ethernet to the router, then I went upstairs and plugged the second box (or adapter) into an outlet in my…
