🌬️ Brivic Indoor Air Conditioner Cover - White, 21 x 15 x 3.5 inches (L x H x D) - AC Cover for Inside Window Unit Review

I live in New York but have an apartment in South Florida. I needed a cover for my air conditioner to keep geckos and bugs out of the apartment until I was away for a few months. I just installed it last week. So if it doesn't work I'll post another review in a few months when I'm back in a sunny state. The fit is great and it looks solid, but it's too early to rate.

Looks good but the cable hole is on the left side of the cover and my AC cable is on the right. In the end I turned it inside out. Less attractive but still functional. It never occurred to me to think about it, but considering the A/C window doesn't protrude very much, it matters. I tried wrapping the cable inside the case but it wouldn't stay inside and the case wouldn't stay.

This happens in about 5 seconds, will probably pay for itself in the first winter. The power cord has one of those big plugs with a reset on it. Otherwise it would run, and I think I might just wrap my cord in the insulation because I certainly don't use my AC in the winter.

Pros - closed front of unit - limits some of the cold air so the AC is better than nothing smaller than the size of the cap I bought but it still fits snugly as the sides don't have much depth and the front dimensions of the cap barely fit. - They made a hole for the cable, but my cable on my AC unit is on the other side, so this hole serves as a cold air exit point. I have to patch the hole to keep cold air out of the house.

Fast delivery, I bought this cover for my built in air conditioner. It's easy to install and I think it keeps cold air out. My new apartment has single-sided glass windows, so I'm trying to keep warm. I'm sure it's very helpful. I have a large gap between the windows to fill in the feel of the ribbon. I don't know if the hat fits, but it does. I doubt it matches the description size but it is correct! Fits perfectly as made to order. I didn't need to cover the depth so I just stuffed the excess

I love this product except the power cord hole is on the opposite side of my device. So I placed the lid on what I thought was upside down (smooth plastic surface on the A/C body), fleece side out. Unfortunately, when I tried to tighten the cord, the lid just slipped off the corners. I suspect if the lid could be attached to metal with fleece it wouldn't slide off as much, but I may be wrong. It's not that big of a deal until a hurricane hits (we've had a few over the winter) and the lid turns…
