Super soft. My grandson normally refuses to wear button down shirts so I dressed him up in a tank top under a button down oxford shirt for a special event we were attending. Love love love these tank tops. The cotton is very soft and is perfect for my slim boy. I had them in the previous size and then bought the next size up when it was too big for them. The seller is amazing too; I mentioned that one of the tanks on the ground arrived a little torn and they sent me 2! Substitute. I bought 5-6 for my little 4 year old (probably 3-4 would be better) and 7-8 for my 6.5 year old. The white 7-8 is quite long but fits my older child a little. Which brings me to the color difference. The white is long and thin, the gray is shorter and wider, and the blue is largest at the top.
