Faulty Alarm; Not Worth Your Money

I purchased this alarm for my home but it has been nothing but a headache. The installation process was complicated and the alarm kept giving false alerts. The only positive aspect was that it came with all the tools needed to install it. However, the benefits were outweighed by the numerous false alarms it produced. I do not recommend this product for anyone looking to improve their home's safety and security.

Pros
  • Provides reliable backup battery power in the event of a power outage
Cons
  • Requires professional installation, which adds to the cost of the unit

Was very easy to install. All I had to do was remove the holder from the old block and replace it with the holder from this block.

Pros
  • Sensors and alarms at 135 degrees Fahrenheit
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Failure in less than a year

The device was connected to the 120V circuit The device started beeping so I replaced the battery. The device kept chirping, so I disconnected it from the 120V circuit, the device no longer chirped, just being powered by the battery. I bought it for the 120V power function.

Pros
  • 120V wired over-temperature alarm with battery backup
Cons
  • Volume
