They work great. Can Am Commander Grab Bar

I installed this on the passenger bar of my 16 Commander to keep my wife's fingers warm. They work great. I used a plastic rivet on the switch panel to attach the included switch and removed the B+ and B- from the "cigarette lighter" auxiliary switch. For the final touch I wrapped them with Scotch 33+ vinyl tape. Hard to beat for less than $10. I'm buying another kit to build my Maverick XDS Turbo. Installation took less than an hour. Don't Worry - Motorcycle & Powersports

So I bought these because I didn't want to spend a hundred bucks on a proper set of heated grips. I should have spent a hundred dollars and had a pair of oxford heated grips since then. Now those pads are in the trash. I installed them and could only feel a slight warmth in my garage with my bare hands. When I went out on the street in 40-50 degrees, my hands froze. I didn't feel any heat on the road through the gloves. Don't waste your time and money installing these pads. Head straight to…

The handles are great, the instructions suck.

Good product. The instructions are completely absurd. It seemed that anything could neither speak nor write English at all. They made no sense, it always is. The product heats up very quickly. They may feel warm as soon as you turn on the switch. They almost get too hard, so it's more like quickly heating up the handlebars and immediately raising your arms and turning on the heated grips, like running. always keeps me warm. I plan to install them under my already installed slanted heated grips.

DO NOT BUY - FIRE

If I could give less than one star I would. The instructions provided with this product are not clear as the person who translated them does not seem to speak English. Since the heated grips ran on 12 volts, I connected them to the bike's battery and they worked fine for the first 10 minutes. However, after leaving the bike for a while to check them out, the wires melted and the bike nearly caught fire. It also caused damage to other wires. Upon further investigation it was found that the wires

The heating elements are neat and do their job well. .

The heating elements are decent and do their job well. The switch and main power cord are too small and need to be replaced. The main power cord is 24 AWG aluminum and the wires that feed the heating elements are 22 AWG copper. It doesn't make sense why the main power cord is smaller and not rated for the current required by the two heating elements. After replacing the switch and main power wire with 18 AWG wire and adding a built in 3 amp fuse, the heating elements worked as expected. Instead

Top 12 dollars I've spent on my bike

UPDATED! Installation was very easy, honestly the question is how long does it take to remove the seat. A downside to this kit is that the battery leads are too short and no fuse or battery connection is included, but again it's $12 so no complaints. I connect a 7.5 amp fuse to it and get great results. These grips have no height adjustment which actually works great because when you are idling they are warm and when you start riding and turn on they start to get really hot! I place them right…
