They delivered a quality product at a reasonable price.

They are initially supplied with the appropriate screwdriver. After that, what do you say about the screw? It has deep sharp threads. Self-drilling and holds up well. I ask for a bronze, they sent me a bronze. You now have miles on that screw. Pat yourself on the back, you're now an expert on this screw.

Pros
  • Modified truss head (washer) provides high clamping force and a neat and finished appearance.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Too Brittle (Recall applies to #7 2 " screw)

Material must be too brittle or they will break the center when the slightest lateral pressure is exerted on it, for example when the surface gripped by the head is not exactly perpendicular to the axis of the screw. If the screw flexes as you tighten it, it will lock. I've never had a problem with broken GRK case screws, but they weren't a 2" size so I gave them a try.

Pros
  • Torx/Star Drive wood screw head provides twice the torque of Phillips or Square head
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Excellent screws for fences.

Ideal fence screws. Nails never hold very well and cause fence posts to wobble constantly as they are driven in. This weakens the base of the posts and can lead to weak and brittle fences that continue to loosen in the wind. Pan head screws hide in softer western red cedar. These screws, on the other hand, hold the fence slats securely without sinking into the wood. The construction is excellent, the threaded portion starts about a half inch lower than the top of the bar, and the threads extend

Pros
  • High quality wood carving Requires less torque to drive screw and provides maximum holding power
Cons
  • Expensive
