This collar works well and does what I need. The plastic pieces covering the collar joint broke off but they are still usable and not really needed. It is very durable...and using it on a 100lb Cane Corso puppy is a must. Except for the detaching plastic pads, everything works perfectly.

I bought all sizes from xs-xl to find out what size I need for my 4 dogs. So far XS, L and XL have worked well. The S and M are poorly made and don't work properly, the rings are too small for the collar diameter. Because they don't fit and are too small for your dog.

This is the second collar of this brand/style that I have bought for my Rhodesian Ridgeback. I bought the big one both times. The first went well. The plastic around the end came off and I had to tape it. The second large size I bought was closer to average. I thought my dog's neck had grown so I measured it. Ambiguous product. I would look for another brand if unsure of sizing. It also rusts.

Gave this product 4 stars as I've only had it for a short time so can't comment on durability. This is a sturdy collar, but due to the end clips, an XL size (23.6 inches) is required for a 70 pound Golden that would normally wear a 22 inch metal collar (measured between the rings). However, the rope is the right thickness and doesn't get as hot as metal chains in summer. I would buy them again.
