Description of 🐶 BRONZEDOG Nylon Martingale Dog Collar: Soft, Padded, Durable Training Collars for Small, Medium & Large Dogs - Puppy Black Orange Blue Green Pink

This medium dog collar is designed to fit dogs with neck of 15"-19". Width is 1". The soft mesh padding makes this nylon dog collar comfortable and does not cause wear on dog's fur or skin. Our martingale dog collar is a perfect combination of high quality, comfort and style. This dog collar is great for training and getting control over you dog if it disobeys without doing any harm. The martingale dog collar slips over the head and tightens when pulled. Before placing an order, please measure your dog's neck circumference with a soft measuring tape to choose the correct size.

For a puppy yes - not so much in the long term

If your dog is still growing and you expect to only use this for a short time then maybe. But if you plan on using this for years, I'd say no. It's already fading and fading.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Our favorite collar for many reasons

My favorite collar! Safe (pups can't escape). Humane (does not constantly press on pup's throat, also compresses when pressed). Excellent quality (we love it). It washed well (I took my muta from the lake - I washed it in a typewriter in the cold and air dried it looked like new). Love it!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Little things

Perfect for big dogs!

Perfect fit for my 80 lb fluffy toddler who likes to pull me while walking. I don't have to worry about the buckle breaking because there isn't one! It also acts as a choke chain, but not as aggressively. I like it. I wish I had received it many years ago. I had it about 8 months ago and it still looks brand new. No wear.

CHEW collar

LIKE THE 1 INCH COLLAR, THE COLOR WAS A PLEASANT PINK, MED. PURCHASED ON JULY 22, 2021 IN 11 MONTHS. OLD LABRADDOODLE, UNTIL AUGUST 5TH. SHE WANTED THE COLLAR, I HAVE TO CHOOSE IT. I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THE SELLER WILL REFUND A CHEWED COLLAR. BUT MOVIN ON IT REALLY WORKS FOR THE TRAINING COLLAR. TO UPDATE. SINCE AUGUST 13, 2021, BRONZE DOG HAS PROVIDED A REAL STATEMENT WHICH I FULLY AGREE WITH AND WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.

Uncomfortably tight, possibly defective, dangerous

This collar is soft which I think would make it more comfortable. Unfortunately, it's also stiff and the strap (the characteristic that makes it a martingale) doesn't relax, so there's a risk of your pet getting caught with their foot or foot when playing or scratching. ATTENTION: Other reviews have mentioned that the metal ring is not soldered and can fall apart when walking a dog that pulls hard. NOT COOL

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Error after 24 hours. HAZARDOUS WASTE.

This collar is hazardous waste. While the components are well stitched, the metal pieces that attach the collar to the martingale section are not welded and will snap if your dog pulls too hard. Look at the picture. This happened in less than 24 hours after receiving the goods. Thank goodness we were home and my dog was just happy to see my husband and not run around town with other dogs and people. She broke free and luckily she has a good memory so he just took her to the yard. If I could…

The only thing wrong.

My Abby wobbles and bends to the point where the clip rotates with the metal that is supposed to hold it together. . The first time I thought I had attached it to the name tag but it didn't stretch and the second time I found it outside my house on the street staring at me. The third time, my husband said she was just sitting next to her sister and waiting. So we had to remove the old collar. Her sister didn't break free and didn't try. So yes I would recommend that but the metal hole needs to…

Broke and unusable within 2 weeks

We were happy to get them for our laboratories. They looked great straight away and were easy to put on and put on. We were very disappointed after the colors faded after a week. We have dark dogs and we needed light colors. ALSO our dogs broke these collars within 2 weeks of use. They didn't chew on them or slip out of them, but instead pulled tight and the metal holding the collar together buckled and the collar fell apart, causing both of our dogs to run away. We live on a busy street next…

Links NOT included.

I have used the collar several times a day since I got it on 27.1. (less than 2 months ago) to potty and walk my 30kg 6 month old puppy. It's a puppy so there are some pulls but she's not that heavy or strong and we don't let her pull too hard so she doesn't hurt her windpipe. The wire connections on either side of this collar are NOT soldered. One came loose and the collar almost came loose before I knew it. I looked at some other martingale collars at the pet store and they all have solid…
